OK, I won the mystery person contest yesterday. The woman pictured was Sybil Tancredi. She was an opera star in the early 1900's. So yes, this is going to be opera week. Today, we feature a photograph of Marguerite Carre. She also was an opera star from that era. I can actually share a recording of her in the clip below:
DOMESTIC UPDATE:
I am pleased to announce that the Lovely Ms. EAM is on the job in Africa. She is working at the Village, and is already working to take care of the children. This last week she was able to participate in a "rescue" where they went into the slums and brought out a starving child. She will now be working to nurse him back to health. This picture shows her with a child that was rescued several years ago.
